Barack Hussein Obama Says Hip Hop The Reason For Violence in the World?
Looks like Hussien Obama is about to lose a lot of his African American & Hip Hop supporters after he made it clear that he accuses Hip Hop Artist and Hip Hop Music are the cause for the worlds violence…. Yes, that is right, HIP HOP. Not terrorist, not rogue nations, Hip Hop. Some thing that started just 3 decades ago apparently has caused the worlds violence.
Status of Comment - Fact - Obama has said this several times during his speeches.
Here are a few links to news articles clarifying Obama’s attack on Hip Hop Music.
- Russell Simmons Fires Back at Barack Hussein Obama - Link
- Barack Criticized by Leading Black Speaker - Link
- Lupe Fiasco Goes for Hillary and says “He ain’t gonna do nothing but perpetuate the nonsense” - Link
Doing a quick search you can come up with tons of other articles discussing this. How do you feel about this? Do you feel betrayed?
- On a side note, Barack Hussein Obama has also accepted millions of dollars in endorsements from “violent” video game makers which not only feature some of the artist he accused of causing problems, but also include the visual violence that comes along. Hypocrite? I think so.

I remember when he said he was going to have hip hop music monitored if he became president. So I don’t doubt him bashing hip hop artist at all.

Man, Obama is a straight up liar if he denies this. I was there when he said Hip Hop has set blacks back decades in the civil rights movement.
I won’t be voting Obama!

World violence? I don’t know if hip hop has caused world violence. But as in American violence; I would have to agree with his statement. I dont see any good come out of hip hop music since it started in the 60’s. Actually I dont see any good come out of the 60’s period. lol… He has my vote 100% if he plans to end hip hop…lol But unfortunatly because the majority of stupid people listen to hip hop, i seriously doubt he or anything would ever stop the insanity. Just my opinion.

If the intention of any song is ever create seperatness or exclusivity it is not a peaceful song……….We are one Nation under God but we are one World under God and peace needs to be the greatest intention of everyone out there in order to create a thriving and amazingly alive planet. We can’t have any petty critcisms about anyone……to have World peace …….we have to embrace our brothers and sisters……..black , green, white , yellow, red , whatever color, creed or religion and focus on wholeness for all of us……enough food, enough, love, enough money, enough good, enough courage, enough joy, enough action, enough expression. I know that many Hip Hop artists are just clearing the air for others by running through their lives in music and song and if anything we need to celebrate where we are now not where we have been ……..but where we are going and what is our greatest intention for the highest and best of all of us as a World.
Many blessings,
Megan

Noone can blame Hip Hop for the violence in the world, because not all hip hop is violent most “MAINSTREAM” Hip Hop is, because thats what people wanna hear, If youd take a listen to Underground Hip Hip youd see that there is a completely different sound, different vibe they try to share Love, Joy, Ambition some trying to make the world a better place…artists such as Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Mac Lethal etc. So before anyone goes on about how Hip Hop is ruining our society by making people kill each other, rob and steal whatever it may be do some research first!

Hip Hop caused American violence huh?…well what if I tell you im a Hip Hop artist?…would you automatically assume that im a violent person?…that ive been to jail?…that i sell drugs or rob people?…That I kill?…well just so you know I dont, but I am a Hip Hop artists ive been doing it for almost 10 years now ive never been to jail, ive never sold drugs, Ive never killed anybody. Your comment was very ignorant. Also very hurtful because as I said there are real artists trying to make a real difference!
Oh and btw Hip Hop started in the late 70’s not the 60’s…Grandmaster flash and the Furious Five-Rappers Delight(Sounds pretty violent huh?)…so before you speak on something (you obviously know nothing about) do some research!

first off aaron… lol… i have to laugh at you… second… i don’t think you have to have a master’s degree on the subject (as you think you do) to see the obvious… but for a history lesson, hip hop did start in the 60’s during the time of the black panthers when blacks were finally being heard and getting their voices out… and it was a beautiful moment in history. Im so glad that hip hop had such a positive role in our society at teh time. But we all know that what intends to be good usually ends up complicated. Such as free love causing teh diseases we have today… So i ask you to look at where hip hop is today especially in the mainsteam… and at its intensity… All i hear out off hip hop/rap music is a bunch of egotistical black men promoting violence, degrating women, and doing drugs… Anyone that denies it is obviously blinded by their own stupidy. As for history, hip hop artist merely are immitating white gansters of the 20’s and 30’s. And now white teenager boys are immating the black artist acting stupid and rebellious… I can not tell you how many “asses” if seen from white teenagers who think they can do anything they want and start fights and smoke pot… I doubt these boys are listening to Selene Dion… our society and social dignity of going down the drain from what violent hip hop music has become. PERIOD. And since you brought up the innocent names as grandmaster flash… and ect… Tell me, what good intent is behind the label MURDER INC???? hmmm…??? Or titles such as F*** THE POLICE???? Would a name by any other name would it sound as VIOLENT??? LOL… obviously you do not know as much as you claim and have no history backing you… If you want to make a positive difference, go for it… its what we need in our society now… but dont blind yourself or voluntarily dwell in ignorance just to promote yourself as a hip hop artist… you won’t make it.
